B.Arch, MUD, AIA, NCARB

Senior Urban Designer

Maury is a multidisciplinary design practitioner with over 20 years of professional experience in crafting the built environment. His professional pursuits span the overlapping fields of architecture, landscape, and urbanism. Maury holds a professional Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arkansas, as well as a post-professional Master of Urban Design from the University of Toronto. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.

Prior to joining Weston Consulting in 2024, Maury’s professional experience spanned Canada and the United States. His previous role was as Associate at Janet Rosenberg & Studio in Toronto, where he specialized in public realm design and master planning. He also worked with AMR Architects in Little Rock, Arkansas, crafting a series of urban revitalization projects.

Maury is a Senior Urban Designer with the Design Team at Weston Consulting. In this role he promotes design excellence, develops strategy, and leads projects within the firm’s expanding portfolio of private and public work. Through his career, Maury has evolved his skills as a resolute leader and thoughtful listener. He recognizes that listening is the first step in developing a successful project or relationship. It is the spark to a meaningful design process, or sometimes the revival of an idea that got lost while finding its way.

Maury’s personal interests extend to furniture design, fabrication, and photography – as well as an enduring relationship with music. He also enjoys exploring Toronto’s ravine system on his mountain bike. In his free time, you will often find Maury engaged at home on a current construction or horticultural project.
