Jessica joined full-time Weston Consulting in 2018. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Honours Planning with a specialization in land development from the University of Waterloo. Jessica is a Registered Professional Planner (RPP) with the Ontario Professional Planners Institute and a Full Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners (MCIP).
Jessica brings professional experience from the private and legal sectors. Prior to joining Weston Consulting full-time, Jessica held multiple intern positions with Weston Consulting, as well as positions in the planning and municipal law field, including Borden Ladner Gervais LLP.
Since joining Weston Consulting, Jessica has been involved in a range of projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area, primarily related to the Ontario Land Tribunal, Toronto Local Appeal Body, and Ontario Courts matters, as well as policy and legislative monitoring. Jessica’s responsibilities at the firm include leading tribunal and monitoring files, as well as a full range of planning services including the management of a variety of Planning Act applications, managing project teams, preparation of land use planning reports, and preparation for and attendance at mediations, hearings, and other related matters. Jessica has experience with low- to high-rise residential, commercial development, and the development of employment and industrial uses. Jessica has also provided representation at the Committee of Adjustment, Council and other Committee meetings.
