Kevin has obtained a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Waterloo, and a Master’s of Science in Rural Planning and Development from the University of Guelph. He is a Full Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and a Registered Professional Planner with the Ontario Professional Planners Institute.
Kevin began his career in 1986 with the City of Kitchener as a Development Planner responsible for the preparation and implementation of a Comprehensive Zoning By-law for Commercial, Industrial and Parks and Open Space land uses. In 1991 he joined Weston Consulting as a Senior Planner gaining progressive responsibility in the management of Planning Act applications for Site Plan, Rezoning, Draft Plans of Subdivision and Condominium and appearing as an expert witness before the Ontario Municipal Board.
After an over 20-year hiatus from the planning industry to work in the environmental and waste management industry, Kevin rejoined Weston Consulting in 2015 as a Senior Associate. He now provides a full range of planning and environmental assessment services to private and public sector clients including the management of Planning Act applications for Site Plan, Rezoning, Draft Plans of Subdivision and Condominium and appearing as an expert witness before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal and the Toronto Local Appeal Body.
