Senior Associate


Robert holds a Master’s of Urban and Regional Planning from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons. in Law) Degree from Carleton University. He is a Registered Professional Planner of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute and a Full Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners.

In 1984, Robert began his career with a large development company in Ottawa. Between 1986 and 1999 he held Senior Planner positions within municipal government, including London and Scarborough. From 1999 to 2004 Robert worked at the National Capital Commission in Ottawa as a Principal Urban Planner. After 5 years with the City of Hamilton as a Senior Project Manager supervising development planners and policy planners for the City’s new Official Plan, Robert moved to the Region of Halton in 2009 as Manager of Community Planning.

Since 2012, Robert has been a planning consultant responsible for managing teams with projects throughout the western GTHA. Robert is a Senior Associate with Weston Consulting, joining the firm in 2019. He is working on a number of large subdivisions and represents clients at LPAT hearings.
