Shane holds a Bachelor of Architecture (Honours) from the Dublin School of Architecture, DTU, Ireland, graduating in the top of his class. Shane has a focus on placemaking, shaping the relationships between streetscape design aspects, built form details, and sustainable city-building. He is passionate about multi-modal design and transit-oriented development being an avid cyclist.
Prior to joining Weston Consulting in 2017, Shane has primarily worked in Toronto, New York City, and Ireland. Shane worked previously in Toronto as a Project Manager for Taylor Smyth Architects, working on several high-end and complex residential, commercial and university projects. He also worked with wHY Architecture in New York on many high-profile museums, including collaborations with Renzo Piano.
Shane is the Design Director at Weston Consulting. He is central to a wide portfolio of private and public work. Shane is an experienced designer and leader, having spent years in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry. Shane has a comprehensive range of experience, leading master plan projects for urban, transit-oriented city-building, along with large-scale infill developments to design complete communities within rural settings.
