The development seeks to highlight Brampton as an area for prestigious business through the use of high-quality architectural materials and the incorporation of streetscape enhancements along Hurontario Street. The building has a high-degree of visibility from the public realm and thus will contribute to the image of the employment and industrial lands. The design promotes active modes of transportation by enhancing the linkages, connections, and circulation of the site.
The site is located in the Sandalwood Industrial East Secondary Plan area in the City of Brampton. The development proposes an industrial warehousing facility that is approximately 1.3 million ft2 including both industrial and office components.
This project was part of a comprehensive development that also included the conversion of a heritage building to permit Commercial and Office land uses, and three other industrial buildings. Weston Consulting has provided planning services for an Official Plan Amendment and Site Plan Approval.
